Cream of the crop.

Thanks to the generosity of fellow plant nut friends we were today able to graft 2 plants that we have wanted to add to our collection for several years.

Cyclamen coum

All the Cyclamen coum are in full garden splendor this week. The colors range from the deepest pinks to the very pale. Here are a few pics.

Sometimes it's all about the foliage we picked this form up at Heronswood Nursery back in 2002.

Also from Heronswood this delicate little plant still only covers a few square inches of garden space after 10 years!

One of many Ashford Strains, the foliage on this one seems to have a perfect maple leaf outline on each leaf!

Time to start Grafting!

Well the Callus bed has been cleaned off & fired up & the Wisteria seedlings have arrived so I guess it's time to start grafting!

New Plants to play with!

A our first new plants for 2012, ten different Grevilleas that have good potential to hardy in North West gardens. We purchased these from the Desert Northwest Nursery in Sequim Washington & we are looking forward to see how they grow for us.
