Some old wire netting!

Corokia contoneaster

Corokia contoneaster is native to New Zealand it makes an interesting garden plant often seeming to be completely lacking any leaves giving it it's common name "The Wire Netting Bush". It has these lovely yellow flowers in the Spring that are followed by orange berries. It's often listed as being not a particularly hardy plant but for us it's been a solid USDA Zone 8 performer. It's come thought some pretty tough Oregon Winters over the last 5 years with only minor tip damage.
